Pros and cons of Cuts of Meat app for iPhone and iPad

Cuts of Meat app good for

Exactly what I was looking for. Ill never understand why different supermarkets call Cuts of Meat by different names. This app sorts it all out.
Good app with lots of information, but only suggestion to the developer would be when you touch on a primal cut its opens to show you the various cuts from within that primal. Just a suggestion.

Some bad moments

Some ok info, but the last two sentences on most entries are obscured by the User Note section which seems to have a bug. It isnt located where it should be, and often there are multiple copies. Additionally, the cuts should be searchable by the categories, i.e. all 4-star flavour cuts or value cuts, etc. for educational value, I agree that tapping a body part should open up the cuts from that area, and to include Dutch and Brazilian diagrams is bizarre while ignoring the most obvious of all, the French.
This app describing different Cuts of Meat is awesome. I find recipes, go to the market and then cant find what I want. Now at my fingertips are all the alternatives. Also love the suggestions on cooking and recipes. Its the best.
This app is a great idea and really helps when planning meals-- or just staring at the meat counter at the market overwhelmed and trying to figure out whats what! I will never be dumbfounded in front of the butcher or meat case again!
I like to check out the meat specials but half the time Im not familiar with the cuts on sale. This app lets me know what the characteristics of the cuts are so I can make a well-informed selection. Hasnt let me down.
Seems like everytime I go the the meat counter I have trouble finding what Im looking for. Every store names their cuts differently. The availablity of "Other Names" and "Substitutes" in this app are very helpful.
This is a great app. It is very helpful to determine Cuts of Meat and how to cook them. I wish it included other types of meat besides beaf
